DEATHS
AHART - Abbott L. Ahart, 62, of 33 Jackson Ave., Endicott, died at Ideal Hospital Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. after a short illness.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth M. Ahart, Endicott, one brother, Elton Ahart, Candor; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was an employee of the Walter L. Johnson Co., Endicott, a veteran of World War 2, and a member of the American Legion Post No. 907 of Candor for the past 25 years.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-512 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Smith D. Van Auken, pastor's assistant of the Boulevard United Methodist, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Endicott.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. The American Legion, Post No. 907 of Candor will provide military honors.
