MILLER - Halla H. (Hal) Miller of 388 East 14th passed away April 8, 1970. He was born September 8, 1875 in Martinsville, Illinois. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Spencer Butte I.O.O.F. Lodge and the Encampment. Father of Ralph and Herbert of Eugene, Lester of Sacramento, Rena Humphrey of Eugene and Erma DeLaMar of Bakersfield California; grandfather of Ivan Bergman of Eugene, Daniel Bergman of Pella, Iowa, Delbert Miller of Los Angeles, Jerry Miller of Eugene, Dr. Bonita Neiland of Fairbanks, Alaska, Shirley Ebner of Eugene; Gregory Miller of Sacramento; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 11 at 10 a.m. in the ENGLAND FUNERAL HOME, PEARL AT 18TH, Dr. Vance H. Webster officiating, with interment in West Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
