"Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Phillips Funeral Home for Mrs. Wm. Beyerlin, 73, who passed away at her home in Goldendale, Friday, August 4. Mrs. Beyerlin had just recently moved back to Goldendale from Bellingham.
Mary Elizabeth Beyerlin was born April 10, 1977 at Richfield. She was the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Tate, early pioneers of Oregon. Mrs.
Beyerlin passed away at her home in Goldendale, Friday, August 4.
She was united in marriage to William F. Beyerlin at Southwick, Idaho, April 29, 1897. To this marriage 10 children were born.
Following their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Beyerlin made their home for seven years at Russell, Idaho, moving from there to Vida, Oregon, where they resided for 15 years. They then moved to Alberta, Canada and 10 years later moved to Goldendale. In 1936 Mr. and Mrs. Beyerlin moved to Bellingham, where they resided until four weeks ago when they returned to Goldendale.
She is survived by her husband, William F. Beyerlin and one sister, Grace Spencer of Ocean Side, California. Nine children also survive, two daughters, Mrs. Harold W. Stuart, Eugene, Ore.; Mrs. Melvin Speelmon, Clarks Fork, Idaho; 7 sons, Buel of Leaburg, Cecil of Vida, Ore.; Raymond and Bert of Goldendale; Richard of Blue River, Ore.; [Wilfred of Ferndale;] Norman of Anderson, Indiana, 22 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive."
