"Buel William Beyerlin of 44135 McKenzie Hwy., Leaburg, died at a local hospital Dec. 22.
He was born March 5, 1898 in Gilbert, Idaho, and was married in Springfield on March 14, 1925 to Bessie Winter, who survives.
Mr. Beyerlin had lived in this community for 70 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church and Springfield 100F Lodge, No. 70.
Surviving besides his wife, Bessie, are three sons, Bruce of Medford, Donald of Springfield and Eugene of Leaburg; 13 Grandchildren; five great grandchildren; five brothers, Cecil of Leaburg, Norman of Junction City, Burt and Raymond of Goldendale, Wash., and Wilford of Ferndale, Wash.; two sisters, Edrie Stuart of Eugene and Norma Spellmon of Clark Forks, Idaho.
Concluding services will be held Saturday, Dec. 27, in Buell Chapel with the Rev. Ben Janz of the McKenzie River Baptist Church at Vida officiating. Ritualistic rites will be conducted by the Springfield Odd Fellows. Private interment will follow in the Springfield Memorial Cemetery. At the family's request, donations may be made in his memory to a favorite charity."
