Mrs. Tom Doyle, Baring, Died Friday; In Hospital Since Auto Accident July 6

Mrs. Tom Doyle of Baring, 77 years old, died at 6:30 o'clock Friday evening, Sept. 16, 1960, at the Laughlin Hospital in Kirksville. She had been a patient at the hospital since July 6, following an automobile accident.

A Requiem High Mass was sung at the St. Aloysius Church in Baring at 10 o'clock Monday morning by the Rev. Stephen Carew, pastor. Burial was in the St. Aloysius Cemetery. Mrs. Doyle was member of the St. Aloysius Church and its Altar Society also.

Mr. Doyle and three daughters survive, Mary Catherine, Mrs. Martin Delaney, of Chicago; Florence, Mrs. Leo Moore, Albuquerque, M. Mex., and Bernadette, Mrs. Willard Delaney, of Baring. There are left also nine grandchildren and a brother and two sisters, Basil and Miss Catherine McKendry, Albuquerque, and Clementine, Mrs. Jesse Grainger, Baring.

Mary E. Doyle, known to everyone as Mayme Doyle, was born on a farm northeast of Baring June 16, 1883. She was a daughter of Bernard and Bridget Bunce McKendry and spent her entire life in the Baring community. She was married to Thomas A. Doyle Jan. 24, 1911, and to them four children were born, one of whom, a sons, Edwin Doyle, died June 3, 1956.

Rosary was recited Sunday evening at the Kriegshauser Funeral Home in Edina, where the body was brought after death.
