In a letter to Marilyn Pederson from Emma's daughter Lucille (Collins) Dillman, she said they always knew their mothers maiden name was Myers, but never knew who her biological father was, and the letter from her daughter Mary Helen (Collins) Torrence said she was always told her mothers maiden name was Myers and also said they never learned who her biological father was, but that it never mattered to her, but she knew Ross James was not her Mothers biological father, she remembered her Mom telling how Emma was born in a log cabin.
