Harold H. Ingenthron, 81, Topeka, died Feb. 12, 2005 at Lexington Park.Harold was born April 21, 1923 in Topeka, the son of Lawrence Joseph and Mary Katherine Stramel Ingenthron.

He was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Moose Lodge. He was an active member to the Active Prime Timers. He graduated from the Catholic High School.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for John Morrell Company; and as a Federal Service Civilian at Forbes A.F.B for 20 years.

After retiring from Federal Civil Service, he owned and operated his own business, Ace Electric.

He was preceded in death by a son David Ingenthron, a grandson, David Meade and a sister Laurine Desch.

He married Betty Ann Blackney Jones on Nov. 16, 1967 in Meriden, she survives.

Other survivors include, daughter, Connie Enoch Lebanon, TN; son, Larry Ingenthron, Fremont, CA; three step-sons, Terry Jones, Escondido, CA; Tim Jones, Valley Center, CA; Steve Jones, Topeka; brother, Ray Ingenthron, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Feb.16, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel.

Entombment will be at Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Ingenthron will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Feb.15, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel.
