Collinsville – Services for Iva Bell Johnson, 87, of Collinsville, will be 10:30 am Monday at the Clement-Keel Funeral Home chapel of Gainesville with the Rev. F.E. Baughman, Pastor of Rolling Hills Baptist church of Lancaster, officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson died Friday night, May 27, 1994, at the Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman.
She was born April 3, 1907, in Collinsville to Abe and Agnes Wheeler Cox. On Jan. 3, 1925, she married Bert Johnson in Tioga. She was a homemaker and a member of the Indian Creek Baptist church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Scott and Jan Johnson of McKinney; tow grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister Jessie Reasor of Gainesville, brothers Marvin and Ralph Cox, both of Collinsville and Clifford Cox of Sherman; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by he husband on June 29, 1970 and her son Wallace Johnson in 1957.
The family will be at the Clement-Keel Funeral Home to receive friends on Sunday from 5 to 6:30 pm.
