COX, Ralph J., 92, died May 12 2002 at the Collinsville Care Center. Burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. He was born December 12 1909 in southeast Cooke Co. to Abe and Agnes Wheeler Cox. On April 14, 1929, he married Vera Woody in Collinsville, TX. He was preceded by his parents, four sisters, five brothers and a great grandchild. He is survived by sons, Glenn, Grady, and Bill and their wives; daughter Betty Johnson and husband; sister, Jessie Reasor and many grandchildren.

Collinsville – Ralph J. Cox, 92, passed away at Collinsville Care Center on May 12, 2002.
A funeral service for Mr. Cox will be at 2 pm May 14, at the Huff Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Roger Cox, Robert Cox, Terry Adkins, Dennis Reasor, Wayne Kyle, and Scott Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Scott Exler, Randy Cox, and Kerry Johnson.
Mr. Cox was born Dec. 12, 1909 in southeast Cooke County to Abe and Agnes Wheeler Cox. He attended Mt. Zion school. On April 14, 1929, he married Vera Woody in Collinsville. She preceded him in death in December, 2001.
He was a deacon for Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church for 50 years. He was a farmer and a retired Cooke County employee.
Mr. Cox leaves behind three sons and their wives, Glenn and Margaret Cox of Odessa, Grady and Mary Ann Cox of Collinsville, and Bill and Sheila Cox of Collinsville; one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Calvin Johnson of Collinsville. He also leaves behind one sister, Jessie Reasor of Southeast Cooke County; 12 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death are four sister, five brothers, and one great-grandchild.
Services are under the direction of Huff Funeral Home.
