Mary Sue Blair

Odessa Mary Sue Adams Blair, loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, passed into eternal life on October 31. Susie, as she was known by family and friends, was born in Oil City, LA, on March 19, 1923. She attended school in Arkansas and graduated from Louann High School in 1940, a year early because she completed 2 grade years in one.
During her high school days, she participated in various girls sports and especially loved basketball.
Funeral services were held, at 2:00 PM Thursday in the Frank Wilson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Cook officiating.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Polly Glidwell, brother Harvey Adams and grandson Blake Copeland. Her son Douglas Blair joined her in death on November 1, 2005.
She is survived by son Don Blair and wife Sue of Odessa; daughter Linda Copeland and husband Charles of Odessa; daughter in law Kaye Blair of Odessa; sister Myrtle Garner of Eunice, N.M.; grandchildren Michelle Copeland, Bevie Blair Downing, Brian Blair and Wayne Blair; and four great-grandchildren.
Services entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
