Mrs. Kessler was born June 2, 1934, in Washington, the daughter of George L. Holtmeyer and wife Rose M., nee Baumker.
She married Lawrence "Larry" R. Kessler May 25, 1957, at St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington.
Mrs. Kessler was a member of St. Brandan Church, Mexico, Mo.
She was a homemaker. She and three of her sisters sang "Rhythm 'n Blues" when they appeared on the "Ted Mack Show" in 1957.
Mrs. Kessler was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sons, James and John Kessler.
She is survived by her husband; seven children, Ronald R. Kessler, Cumberland, Md., Laura A. Hughes, Swanton, Md., David C. Kessler, Kathleen M. Love, both of Columbia, Robert A. Kessler, Joseph L. Kessler, both of Lenexa, Kan., and Kristi R. Kessler-Williams, Mexico, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Dec. 1, at St. Francis Borgia Cemetery, Washington.
A funeral Mass was held Friday, Nov. 30, at St. Brendan's Catholic Church, Mexico, Mo.
Memorials to St. Brendan's Catholic Church or School in Mexico, Mo., are preferred.
