Hannah Hans Braund was the daughter of John Braund and Elizabeth Hanns Lang.
she was baptised on 11 Oct 1807 at Broadwoodwiger, Devonshire.
She was the first born with the following siblings:
John 1809, Lewis 1811, George Hanns 1813,Betsy Hanns 1815,William 1817,Edith 1819, Charlotte
1821, Samuel 1824 (Samuel Braund drowned in a well at the age of 18 mos. )

Hannah married Richard Northcott April 30, 1830 at the Parish of Broadwoodwidges,County of Devon. England.
She and Richard had 10 children, all but the last born in England. The family emigrated to the United States from England approximately after 1849 and before 1851,remaining in Racine for about a year and eventually settling in the Town of Fountain, Juneau County, Wisconsin.

The children were Robert Northcott, Thomas Northcott, John H Northcott, Betsy Ann Northcott, Richard Northcott, Mary Jane Northcott, Hannah A Northcott, Charlotte Northcott, William C Northcott and James L Northcott.

Their son Robert Northcott served in the civil war, with Co B, 49th regiment, Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry.
