HARTINGTON — Mary M. Becker, 79, Hartington, died Dec. 11, 2010, at the Park View Haven Nursing Home, Coleridge.
Visitation will be Dec. 15, from 2-8 p.m., with a rosary at 3 p.m., and a Vigil Service at 7 p.m., at the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. Visitation will continue at church Thursday morning, one hour prior to services.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Dec. 16, at 10:30 a.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Hartington, with Rev. Jeffery Loseke officiating.
Burial will be at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Fordyce.
Pallbearers will be Tim Dresden, Matt Dresden, Jim Eickhoff, Rollie Eickhoff, Dave Eickhoff and Gary Pinkelman.
Mary Magdeline Becker was born March 30, 1931, in Hartington, to John M. and Anna (Meyer) Becker. She attended grade school in Fordyce, and graduated from Holy Trinity High School, Hartington. Mary did domestic work.
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its Perpetual Adoration. She was also a member of the Ministry of Praise and the Holy Trinity Guild.
Mary is survived by one sister, Ann Jalbert, South Lake Tahoe, Calif; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Anton, Herman, Adolph, Gerald and Richard Becker; sisters Cecilia Eickhoff, Josephine Raduechel and Rose Dresden.
