Marilyn A. Yurk, 60, of 1420 Bluff Ave., died unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, January 20, 2007, following an apparent heart attack.
Marilyn was born October 8, 1946 in Port Washington to George and Mildred (Eisenmann) King.
She graduated from Port Washington High School.
On June 8, 1968 Marilyn was united in marriage to John L. Yurk Sr. The couple then made Sheboygan their home. Mr. Yurk, a former employee of the Vollrath Co., preceded her in death on December 12, 1998.
In her younger years, Marilyn was employed by Northland Plastics.
Marilyn lost her husband when he was 51, and her loving family gave her much love and encouragement. She also had the affection of her pet cats.
Survivors include a son, two daughters; six grandchildren; two sisters; a brother; and other family members.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne; two brothers, Jerry and Wayne.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2:00 P.M. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. A time of visitation and support will be held at Ballhorn Chapels on Tuesday 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
