KING
George E. King, 61, of Route 1, Port Washington died Tuesday at home following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 2p.m. Thrsday at United Methodist Church, Grand Avenue, Port Washington. The Rev. Duane Andrus will officiate with burial in Union Cemetery, Port Washington.
Mr. King was born April 28, 1914 in the Town of Holland, son of the late James and Pearl Winters King. He married Mildred Eisenmann June 29 1940 at Mishicot, moving to Port Washington in 1948, where he worked at PCM as a welder. He was a member of I.A. of M. Union Local No.1430.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, George, and Wayne, of Port Washington, four daughters, JoAnne and Patti, of Port Washington, Mrs. Dennis (Barbara) Gains, of Fredonia and Mrs. John (Marilyn) York, of Sheboygan, four brothers, Baeton, of Whitelaw, Joel of Rockwood, DeForest of Manitowoc and Charles, of Shreveport, La., two sisters, Mrs. Florence Stenzell of Whitelaw and Mrs. Bernard (Angeline) Fraeser, of Manitowoc, eight grandchildren and two daughters-in-law, Mrs. Carol King and Mrs. Mary Jo King. A son, Gerald, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Poole Funeral Home, 203 N. Wisconsin Ave., Port Washington, after 5 p.m. Friday and at the church after 12:30 p.m. Thursday until the time of service.
