Born Jan. 4, 1920, in Newark, she was the daughter of Leonard and Bertha (Lundy) Chally.
Vivian and Elmer Walker were united in marriage Oct. 26, 1937, and they spent the next 71 happy years of their lives together. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was employed by the Anchor Brush Company, a member of the Ladies Circle and a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Morris. She enjoyed Rosemaling painting, ceramics and doll collecting.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer Walker of Morris, and her five children, Judith (Bud) Hanson of Plano, Texas, Janet (Fred) Blosser of Tuscon, Ariz., Jean (Mike) Linden of Plano, Texas, Gordon (Edi) Walker of Panama City, Panama, and Linda (Tom) Nance of Aiken, S.C. She leaves behind 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, her brother and sisters, Darlene (Kenny) Brugh of Yorkville, June (Milton) Thompson of Morris, Leonard (Leora) Chally of Yorkville and Dale (Joan) Chally of Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Barbara Johnson.
