Asa Eggleston (1763-1840) was placed on the pension roll, 1832, in Jefferson County, N.Y., for service as private, 1778-79, in Captain Burdick's company, Colonel Dyer's regiment, Rhode Island State troops. He was born in Voluntown, Conn.; died in Antwerp, N. Y.
