Wife of Noman W. Ford and daughter of Sidney and Maude Levon Barber. Her first husband was Edward Jennings whom she married September, 29, 1932 in Eagle, NY. 76y

Wyoming County Times-December 1987

Funeral services were held December 14th in the Bliss Baptist Church for Gladys Ford, 76, of 3476 E. Main Street, who was dead on arrival, December 11, 1987 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.

Mrs. Ford died from injuries sustained in an auto accident on Rte. 78 in the Town of Wethersfield. Burial was in the Wethersfield Cemetery at Smith's Corners.

A life time area resident, Mrs. Ford was a graduate of the Bliss High School and of the Fillmore Training Class. She taught in area schools for several years. She also worked as an interior decorator and paper hanger for many years. She was a member and served as treasurer of the Bliss Baptist Church. She was a member and President of the Wethersfield Cemetery Association and was a director-at-large of the Genesee Valley Women's Bowling Association.

Surviving include two daughters, Janet Moden of Bliss and Suzan Sacco of Stafford; one son, Roland Jennings of Punxsutawney, PA.,; three brothers Edgar Barber, Claude Barber, and Vernon Barber, all of Bliss; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
