Enus Syverson passed away Tuesday evening, June 17, at age 37 years, death being due to tuberculosis.
Mr. Syverson had been farming in the Marion vicinity for a number of years, renting the Brox farm north of town for several years and last year rented one of the J. J. Waldie farms south of town.
He was stricken with the dread disease last year, and last winter went to Dunseith Sanatorium for treatment returning here this spring. It was thought for a time that his condition had improved but he soon began to fail and passed away quietly Tuesday night.
He was united in marriage to Emma Brox of Greenland Township; three children were born to this union. He is survived by his parents, wife, three children and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held in the Scandinavian Lutheran Church on Thursday afternoon.
Rev. Lasseson conducted the service and the remains were interred in the Rosebud Cemetery northwest of Litchville.
We extend sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives.
