Waneda I. Whitaker, 81, of Olney, died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 1994 at Burgin Manor Nursing Home.
Burial will be in the Crest Haven Cemetery.
Whitaker was born Jan. 15, 1913, in Richland County, the daughter of Grant V. and Golda (Cutright) Stevens. she married Lee V. Whitaker Nov. 26, 1939, in Clark County, Ind. He died June 14, 1979.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church and also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Past Matron.
She is survived by a son, Jerry L. Whitaker and his wife, Judith A. of Olney; a daughter-in-law, Donna Whitaker of Olney; two grandchildren, Justin L. Whitaker and Deana M. Whitaker; and several nieces and nephews.
Whitaker was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Arol R., two brothers and a sister.
