Services with Masonic Rites at Summers Funeral Home with Rev. R.E. Dowden officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery.
He was born in Richland County on June 17, 1916, son of Leander (Lee) and Ada H. (Leist) Whitaker. He married Waneda Stevens on Nov. 26, 1939.
Mr. Whitaker is survived by his wife, two sons, Jerry and Arol both of Olney, a brother, Henry of Robinson, his parents of Olney and one granddaughter.
Mr. Whitaker was the owner and operator of Pizza Villa in Olney. He was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church, Olney Masonic Lodge No. 140, Center Shrine Club and Scottish Rite.
