Emma Dianna Mitchell Shaw, daughter of Robert and Camilla (Draper) Mitchell, wife of LeRoy Shaw. Emma was born in Sheldon, Franklin Co. Vermont. When a small child she moved with her parents to Neenah, Wisconsin. When she was five years old the family moved to Litchfield, MN. At the age of ten, they moved to Clearwater, Wright County, Minnesota where she lived until the time of her death.
On October 1, 1881 she married LeRoy Shaw. They had five children, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. She is survived by four of her children, a sister, Augusta Sutherland, and one brother, R. Wesley Mitchell.
She was a member of the Clearwater, Congregational Church.
