A memorial service will be at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Rev. Father Jerry Wirth officiating. Full military rites will be performed by the Olney Veterans Organization. Cremation rites were accorded.
Mr. Shryock was born in Jasper County, the son of Roy Grant and Catherine (Menacher) Shryock.
He worked as a tool supervisor for Tri-State & Baker Tools. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam veteran and a member of Olney Elks, Eagles and American Legion.
Mr. Shryock is survived by his ex-wife, Judith Shryock of Olney; daughter, Amanda Catherine Shryock of Calhoun; brothers, Ronald Shryock of Gaylord, Mich., George Shryock of College Station, Texas and Leroy Shryock of Olney; sisters, Imogene Riegel of Springfield and Carol Jenkins of Cahokia; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Shryock was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Dolores and brother, Byrl.
