VIOLA BENEDA
Viola Beneda, daughter of Frank and Frances Beoyshek, was born December 26, 1914 at Cuba and died July 6 at the Republic County Hospital at the age of 54 years, 6 months and 10 days.
She attended Beebee school.
March 20, 1935 she was united in marriage with Ernest Beneda. Two children were born to this union.
She lived her entire life in the Cuba and Belleville communities. She was a member of the Cuba Presbyterian church and the Presbyterian Ladies Guild.
Survivors are: her husband; son, Lonnie and wife, Nancy of Cuba; daughter, Glennis and husband. Bob Trecek of Belleville; four grandchildren, Danny and Deena Beneda, Troy and Tammy Trecek; her parents; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Rott and Mrs. Joe Skocny, Jr., of Cuba, Mrs. George Splichal of Munden; four brothers, Ben, Glenn, Lawrence and Raymond, all of Cuba.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 8, 2 p.m. at the Cuba Presbyterian church with interment in the National Bohemian (Kopsa) cemetery.
