CUBA — Leona Skocny, 93, Cuba, died Monday, Jan. 20, 2003.
Mrs. Skocny was born Leona Benyshek on Nov. 22, 1909, in Cuba. She was the owner-operator of Home Nursery Cuba.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe E, in 1973.
Survivors include a daughter, Kayleen Henriksen of Courtland; a sister, Francis Rott of Concordia; two brothers, Glenn Benyshek and LawrenceBenyshek, both of Cuba; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Presbyterian Church U.S.A., Cuba.
Burial will be in Kopsa Cemetery, Cuba.
Memorials may be made to Presbyterian Church, Cuba, or Methodist Church, Courtland.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, 1104 20th,
