He was in Company L, 12th Missouri Cav. He was captured at Abbyville, MS Aug 13, 1864. He was sent to Hospital 2481 on March 29, 1864 with Pneumona and was sent to Lawson Hospital April 3, 1864. He was admitted to Cahawba, Prison on Oct 19, 1864 with diarrhoea(692) and 15 returned to prison with no further record of him. Mystery: records show him Muster out role on April 9, 1866 and last paid May 1, 1864, last settled never drawn since $24.94 and bounty paid $100.00.
