Lucinda was the daughter of Samuel and Joanna Hurd Older of England with siblings: Caleb (1828) born in England, Jonathan (1834), Elizabeth (1837), Thomas (1838), Barnard (1841), and Silas (1843) born in Ohio. She married Lott Todd on 15 August 1864 in Wood County, and they had Della, Michael, Herbert, Anna, Joseph, twins: Dona, and Ona, and Frank. Lucinda died from stomach cancer at the age of 80 years 8 months and 12 days.
