Mrs. Aura Troxel, 85, of Ockley, former Flora lady, died Friday morning at about five o’clock at her home following a lengthy illness. Born in Clinton county Oct 10, 1876, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Charlotte Bennett Felthoff. Her marriage on Nov. 13, 1897 was to James Troxell, who died in 1946. She was a member of the Radnor Church of God. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Olaf Jackson and Mrs. Clarence Beard, both of Ockley; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Eikenberry funeral home in Delphi with Rev. Ruby Bushee officiating. Burial was made in Maple Lawn cemetery.
