RUTLEDGE
The death Angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Morrison, last Wednesday morning the 15th, and claimed for its victim, their oldest son, Royal Morrison. He had been in poor health for several years, but was able to be around. He had gone to the barn and caught a horse, to take to his uncle's and try to sell it. After hitching it in front of his father's house, he took a hemorrhage from which he died. He reached the age of twenty-three years. His funeral was conducted by Rev. Guy Furgeson [sic] at the Millport church, Thursday 16th. He was a kind and affectionate son and brother. May the bereaved ones look to Him that can sooth the broken hearts and lead them until the summons comes to go and be with those that have gone on before.
