Homer, Ill., May 13.—As a result of a stroke of paralysis sustained last Tuesday, George Keith Cecil, a well known resident of this place, died here today at the age of 63 years. Funeral services will be held in the Christian church here Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. E. M. Norton and E. A. Barrows. Interment will probably be made in the G. A. R. cemetery.
Mr. Cecil was born in Belmont county, Ohio, April 18, 1844. He was united in marriage to Jemima Stage Nov. 12, 1865 at Marquetta, O., and to their union were born five children—a son and four daughters: James Cecil, deceased; Mrs. Margaret Alcorn, Urbana, Mrs. Lucetta Bleymarer, Cleveland, O.; Mrs. Emma Beach, Mebland, Colo; Mrs. Mary Burdick, Homer.
Mr. Cecil is survived by a wife, the four daughters, eleven grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.
