Obituary -Painesville Telegraph Tuesday, 27 July 1920: "Mrs. Addie E. Jayne, a resident of this city for the past 45 years passed away this morning at the home of her son, W.B. Cole on Mentor avenue. She was born in Highland, Michigan, Sept. 6, 1842. She is survived by her husband, L.R.Jayne and 5 children, Mrs. Edith C. Nye, W.B.Cole, Alfred L. Jayne, and Mrs. L.T. Curtis of this city, and Forrest M. Jayne, of Philadelphia, PA. the funeral services will be held at the home of W.B.Cole Thursday afternoon at 2:30 and will be conducted by Rev. M.W.Foshay, pastor of the First Baptist church of which Mrs. Jayne has been a member for many years. Burial at Evergreen cemetery."
