Mrs. Lydia Reading, 48, 816 W. First St., died Sunday morning at Ball Memorial Hospital following a two-week illness. She was a lifelong resident of Muncie. Mrs. Reading attended the Wings of Deliverance Tabernacle.
Surviving are her husband, Harry O.; five daughters, Mrs. Emma Russell, Mrs. Anna Ferrell, Miss Betty Reading, and Miss Rosemary Reading, all of Muncie, and Miss Jane Ann Reading, Fort Wayne; two sons, Jackie and Harry O. Reading, Jr., both of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; two brothers, George C. Bailey, Muncie, and Ray Schisler, Cromwell; her sister, Mrs. Ethel M. Reeder, Muncie; two half-brothers, William E. Bailey and Robert Bailey, both of Muncie; and her half-sister, Mrs. Thelma Mae West, Mill Springs, Ky.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Wings of Deliverance Tabernacle with Rev. Dale Workman officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at Parson Mortuary after 7 p.m. Monday and at the church an hour prior to services.
