Mrs. Emma Reading, 64, wife of Henry C. Reading, 2300 N. Elm St., died Saturday afternoon at Ball Hospital after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Reading was born in Cammack and lived in this area her entire life. She was a member of Drumm Addition Apostolic Tabernacle.

Surviving besides the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Lydia Reading and Mrs. Ethel Reeder, both of Muncie; two sons, George Ray Schisler and Cliff Bailey, both of Muncie; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Thelma West, Monticello, Ky.; two stepsons, William Bailey and Robert Bailey, both of Muncie; a sister, Mrs. Mary Walters, Fairmount; 19 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Meeks Mortuary at 1:30 p.m Monday with Rev. A. Dungan and Rev. Joseph Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence, 2300 N. Elm St., after 3 p.m. Sunday.
