Ethel Mae Reeder, 80, Muncie, passed away Wednesday morning at the Muncie Health Care and Rehabilitation after an extended illness.
She was born to George and Emma Mae Jackson Bailey Reading. She attended Muncie Community Schools and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Reeder was a member of One Accord Tabernacle.
Survivors include four sons, Paul Steven Reeder (wife-Pamela) of Muncie, Daniel D. Reeder (wife-Linda) of Muncie, Joseph James Reeder of Muncie, and Ora B. Reeder (wife-Linda C.) of Muncie; one daughter, Barbara Ann Reeder of Muncie; one sister, Thelma West of Muncie; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Paul C. Reeder; her parents; and one brother, George Cliffton Bailey.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Eugene McComas officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon until time of services Friday at the mortuary.
