HOULKA – Ted Brown Jr., 66, died Sunday, May 22, 2011, at his son's home in Houlka.
He was born Aug. 18, 1944, in Houston to Ted Brown and Virginia Barnett Brown. He was a retired truck driver.
Services are at 11 a.m. today(Wednesday, May 25) at Houlka United Methodist Church with the Rev. T. J. Funderburk officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Houlka.
Survivors include his sons, Tim and wife Rena Brown of Houlka, Archie Brown of Houlka and Andy Brown of Houlka; the mother of his children, Bonnie Burgess Brown of Houlka; his grandchildren, Matt Brown and Celsey Brown; and his great-granddaughter, Laura Beth Brown.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Brown; his mother, Virginia Kelly, and his sister, Betty Houston.
Pallbearers are Roger Thomas, David Thomas, Johnny Burgess, Ricky Burgess, Mickey Denham, and James Ayers.
Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Houlka United Methodist Church.
