OBITUARY- MARY BOYDSTON
Mary Tamsy Boydston passed away November 14, 1968 at Cheyenne, Wyo. Mary was the daughter of the late James Davis Sowder and Sarah Jane Anderson. She was born at Camden Point, Mo. August 16, 1886. She was united in marriage to Henry Boydston, September 27, 1906, at Platte city, Mo., and later they moved to Kansas and made their home in the Fairview and Sabetha communities.

To this union were born three sons and 8 daughters. James Henry Boydston, Sabehta; Viola Kinghorn, DeWitt, Nebr.; Dorothy Buttner, Seneca; Sarah Eggleston, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Delphia Hinton, Fairview; Tamsy Eggleston, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Juanita Henninger, Sabetha; Grace Billings, Humboldt, Nebr.; Ruby Watkins, Sabetha. She also leaves 35 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren. Two sons and her husband preceded her in death. Everett died in infancy and Estell died at age 52, Henry her husband, passed away October 12, 1948. Services were held at Popkess Chapel Monday, November 18 at 2 p.m. Rev. Joseph Cooke officiated. Mrs. W. R. Popkess was organist. The casket bearers were Charles Jackson, Ralph Woldt, Olin Emert, Paul Banks, Ivan Strahm, Clarence Lovelady. Interment was in the sabetha Cemetery.
