Paul G. Esse, 58, of 3713 Ross St., died Sunday (Apr. 5, 1970) in a hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Esse was born in DeForest and married Vera Willadsen, who died in 1964. He lived in Madison most of his life and was employed with the sales department of Zimbrick Buick Co. Before that, he was employed by other Buick dealers in Madison. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and its Ushers Club.
He is survived by two sons, Dale, Rochester, N.Y., and Gary, West Allis; five sisters, Mrs. Tinka Bilsie, and Mrs. Russell Loberg, DeForest; Mrs. Ervin Kroncke, Arlington; Mrs. Carolyn Olson, St. Paul, and Mrs. Garland Marple, Alexandria, Va.; two brothers, John, DeForest, and George, Valders; and one grandchild.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery. Friends may call at the Frautschi Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd., after 4 p.m. Tuesday. The family suggested memorials be made to the church or to the American Cancer Society.
