DEATH OF MRS. I. D. ROW
Mrs. I. D. Row died at her home Sunday afternoon after a long illness. She has been sick for about a year and her condition has been critical for several months, and the end has been expected at any time.
The funeral was held at the Methodist church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 under the direction of the Rebekahs and I. O. O. F. Rev. D. McCormick and Rev. W. B. Barton assisted in the service, the sermon being preached by Rev. Barton. Interment was in Larned cemetery.
The deceased was born in Hardin county, Ohio, Aug. 8, 1851, died May 15, 1910, aged 58 years, 9 months and 7 days. She was united in marriage to I. D. Row Dec. 27, 1874, and removed to Kansas in the spring of 1878. After spending a short time in Stafford county the family came to Larned, where she resided until the time of her death.
She was the mother of ten children, two having died in infancy. She became a member of the German Reformed church in childhood. After coming to Kansas she united with the M. E. church of this place. She lived a consistent Christian life and was a devoted wife and mother.
She leaves a husband, six sons, two daughters, six brothers and two sisters to mourn her loss, besides many devoted friends and neighbors. Death came to her as a welcome relief to great suffering, and this thought reconciles, to an extent, the grief of the bereaved ones.
