Everett B. Cadwell - Centreville (Michigan)

Everett B. Cadwell, 71, of 265 Fair Rd., Fish Lake, died suddenly at his home Thursday morning. He was born in Evanston, Ill., Dec. 4, 1893, a son of William and Sarah Cadwell. His first wife, Mae Dumke, preceded him in death in 1945. In June, 1946, he was married to Alta B. Bowersox, in Centreville. Before moving to the Centreville area in 1940, he had been employed by the Gardener Wire Company of Chicago and the Elmhurst, Ill., Street Department. He was a World War I veteran, having served with the U.S. Navy. Mr. Cadwell attended Salem Lutheran Church in Sherman Township. Surviving are his wife; one son, Blaine, Jr., of Syracuse, N.Y.; one stepson, Earl Bowersox, of Fish Lake; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Rexrode Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde Hildebrand, pastor of Salem Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will take place in Prairie River Cemetery. Memorial may be directed to the Salem Lutheran Church's memorial fund.
