Rites Slated

Services for Henry W. Behnke, 75, of 803 Church St., North Syracuse, who died yesterday at St Joseph's Hospital after a short illness, will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Frasier-Sheppardson [sic] Funeral Home, 1217 N. Salina St., the Rev. Michael Lagerman officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Heart Fund of Upstate New York.

Mr. Behnke was a pressman with the Syracuse Herald-Journal, American, retiring in 1971. He formerly was with the Greater Buffalo Press and the former Syracuse Journal.

Mr. Behnke is survived by his wife, the former Ida [sic] Phillips; three sons, Phillip D. of Newark, John W. of California and Henry D. of North Syracuse, and two sisters, Mrs. Stephen Schnurr of Elbridge and Mrs. Mina Smith.
