Mrs. Lena Shanklin, wife of Howard Shanklin, 429 Dewitt Street, died last night at 9:30 o'clock at her home of heart disease. She became ill suddenly yesterday morning while on her way to attend services at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Returning home, she lay down on a sofa. Death came that night when her condition suddenly became more serious.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Shanklin is survived by two sons, Howard, Jr., and James Shanklin: a daughter, Miss Esther Shanklin; two brothers, Henry and Charles Behnke: three sisters, Mrs. Grace [Margaret] Schnurr, Mrs. Minnie Smith and Miss Clara Behnke, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Behnke. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2:30 o'clock at Westminster Church by the Rev. Ralph H. Houseman, pastor.

SHANKLIN—In this city, April 21, 1929, LENA MARIE SHANKLIN, wife of Howard Shanklin, aged 36 years. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, James and Howard; one daughter, Miss Esther Shanklin; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Behnke; three sisters, Mrs. Grace [Margaret] Schnurr, Mrs. Minnie Smith and Miss Clara Behnke.
Funeral services will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Tuesday at 2:30 P.M. Friends are invited. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
