Body at Hollabaugh-Spindle's Wooddale Memorial Chapel, with visiting from 8 a.m. Friday until religious services from 8 a.m. Friday until religious services at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Bishop Beasley. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Survived by four daughters, Mrs. Sozo (Peewee) Rushing, Baker, Mrs. D.P. (Mary) Anthony, Mrs. Linwood (Ruby) Greenhill and Mrs. R.C. (Dollie) Boeneke, all of Baton Rouge; two sons, Dale Metcalfe, Baton Rouge, and Jennings Metcalfe, Baker; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Eva Metcalfe, Baker; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be T.C. Messenger, D.P. (Bubba) Anthony, Dolph, Darrell and Dwight Boeneke, and Danny and Gary Metcalfe.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society of Greater Baton Rouge.
