Peter L. Denor, 63, of 222 Cleveland St., Brillion, died last Tuesday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, following a lingering illness.

Born April 3, 1907, in the town of Franklin, Manitowoc County, she was a son of the late Peter and Catherine Wagner Denor. He married the former Genevieve Steges on Aug. 31, 1946. Mr. Denor retired just a week ago from his job at the Brillion Iron Works.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Brillion, and the Holy Name Society of the church. He also was a member of the Brillion American Legion Post.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Barbara, at home; two sons, Robert at home and James at Whitewater; five sisters, Mrs. Paul Massmann and Mrs. Frank Bender, both of Manitowoc, Mrs. Adolph Raschke of Brillion, Mrs. Michael Mangin of Cato and Mrs. Robert Bielinski of Denmark, and three brothers, Herbert of Brillion, John of Taus and Arthur of Denmark.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Brillion, with the Rev. Leonard Woelfel pastor, as celebrant of the funeral Mass. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
