Uncle Esper "Bo" was born to the late Chapman William and Mary Jane Frazier-Rhodes. He was the seventh of twelve children born to their union. Uncle Esper was a long standing member of Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He worked faithfully and was the Treasurer of the Usher Board until his failing health problems prevented him from participation. He retired from the Kroger Company after 35 years of service. At Friendship Baptist Church in Crawfordville, Georgia, Uncle Esper and Aunt Susie were childhood friends. He honorably served his country during World War II in France and met Aunt Susie again in Cincinnati, Ohio, where they were united in love and Holy Matrimony on November 24, 1947. They had four children, Donald (preceded him in death), Cynthia, Deborah and Douglas. Uncle Esper was a friendly man and made everyone around him feel good. He was an excellent father and a devoted husband. His loving heart was known by family, friends and neighbors. Uncle Esper departed this life thirty-three years, to the day, from the passing of his sister (my beloved mother, Theresa Todd, May 3, 1968).
