Russell Otto Allen, 53, of 1001 Holmes, died at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital. He had been ill the past six months.
Born March 12, 1913, in Auglaize County, he was the son of Orphy and Evalyn Loomis Allen.
Surviving are his father, Orphy, of 1001 Holmes; four brothers, Robert of DelRay Beach, Fla., Raymond of Malibu Beach, Calif.; Darrell of 817 Cornell, and Larry of Defiance; six sisters, Mrs. Paul (Hazel) Conner, 678 N. McDonel, Mrs. Dale (Ilene) Michael of Wisconsin Dells, Wisc., Mrs. Willard (Margie) Evans, 1951 N. Cole, Mrs. Howard (Dorothy) Foust of Rt. 2, Elida, Mrs. Clay (Frances) Knoch of Rt. 6, Wapakoneta, and Mrs. Harold (Nettabelle) Millirans, 4460 East Rd.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Siferd Westwood Chapel, Rev. Glenn Crabtree officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 2 p.m. today. Donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
