George A. Wood, an old-time resident of Rockville, but who for some time has been living with his daughter, Mrs. John L. Adams, a short distance south of town, died Monday morning at 8 o'clock. He had not been in vigorous health for quite a while and last Saturday afternoon sustained a stroke of paralysis. He became unconscious at once and remained so until his death. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the residence, Rev H. N. Ogden officiating. Mr. Wood was nearly 81 years old. For many years he worked at the carpenter's business in this town.
