Mrs. Edna M. Day, 83, of 609 E Maple Ave. LaPorte, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb 2, 1993, at 9:02pm at LaPorte Hospital.
She was born April 19, 1909, in LaPorte, to John and Lydia (Stahlberg) Lower, and was a lifelong resident.
On June 16, 1928, in LaPorte, she married Harvey O. Day, who died Oct. 4, 1961.
Surviving are 3 daughters, two sons, 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-great grandchildren; and one sister. She was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, two grandsons, one sister, and four brothers.
