Charles Harrison Ritz, of 21 Brent St., Hancock, died Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. after a long illness at Newton Baker VA Hospital, aged 73 years.
Born in Washington County, he was the son of the late William Daniel and Delilah Jane Beatty Ritz. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Clara Stotler, of Hancock; Mrs Mabel Gunnells, of Cleona, Pa., Miss Phoebe Ritz, of Miami Fla.; William Ritz, of Hancock R.F.D., 1; Harold G. Ritz of Waynesboro; and Elmer R. Ritz of Baltimore.
Friends may call at the Grover Funeral Home in Hancock, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Henry May officiating. Interment will be in Buck Valley Christian Cemetery, Pa.
