Donald E. Ritz, 54, of R.D. 1, Breezewood, died at 7:15 a.m. Monday, March 28, 1983, in Memorial Hospital of Bedford County.
He was born, October 27,1928, in Fulton County, a son of the late William R. and Minerva (Hull) Ritz. He was married to Edna Garland, on September 21,1955, who survives along with a daughter, Brenda, wife of James Galloway, of Huntingdon, West Va.; and a son, Roger, at home. A grandson, James Galloway also survives along with two brothers: Dale W. and John E., both of Warfordsburg.
Mr. Ritz was a member of Buck Valley Christian Church and had been employed by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission at Everett for 20 years.
Funeral services: Wednesday, March 30, at 2 p.m. in the Conner- Dana Valle Funeral Chapel in Everett, with Rev. Curtis Bryant officiating. Burial in Cedar Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
If friends so desire, contributions may be made to the Raystown Ambulance Association in memory of Mr. Ritz.
