This baby girl and her mother died as the result of a lack of medical care late in the pregnancy. The father admitted to burying the body in a chicken coop on their farm and that he had buried another baby there about three years prior. The father was sentenced to almost 2 year at the state penal farm for burying the baby and neglecting the other children. The baby also had sibling Cyntha, Evelyn, Charles, and Catherine.

The death certificate gives a death date of March 1 and interment on April 3. The cemetery records say April 1 and 3. Based on the circumstances of the baby's death and the resulting coroner's inquest delayed the burial. The baby's existence was unknown until Margaret was admitted to the hospital on March 27. The body was not recovered until March 28.
